We just finished watching The Inside Job; great movie! I am so shocked!!! I realized that a lot of people don`t know anything about whats behind a bank, the government, universities, etc. While I was watching the documentary, I looked at my classmates (innovators) and all of them had weird faces; you could see how in shock they were.
What definitely has stuck on my mind was how banks actually cheat on people like us to get more money. CEO`s are often type A personalities and get so ambitious that they don`t care if they ruin a countries economy or even a persons life; they just want money. Since they have power they can do everything! The CEO`s contact the board of a company and pays them, and the board pays the CEO... No wonder why theres so much corruption!
Also, since most of the money or a big amount of money earned by the CEO or employees is earned through bonuses; they don`t care if they send the company to a crisis. They just lend money, and get the bonus out of the innocent people and then the crisis problem passes to someone else on the company. Plus, theres so much corruption that they even pay the credit rating agencies so that they get payed AAA. After that their reputation is almost near perfection so people invest their money on the company when they aren't a real AAA company.
Also, when you hear the name Harvard or Brown university, the first thing that comes to your mind is prestige, great universities. I just found out that there are professors on some of the top universities that are corrupt and are part of lobbyers.
