As I have mentioned before, for the Innovation Academy (IA) we are creating documentaries with the purpose to serve and inform the community that surrounds us.
So, following our statement and our Economics unit, we discussed about the topics that where related to the Economy in Peru and that we would be willing to investigate. We got a ton of questions and topics that we could research, almost 100! Since we were all not sure about what we wanted to do, we decided to go and interview students, teachers, staff, everyone in the FDR community.
After 30 minutes of interviewing Daniela (IA student) gave me a great idea; she said that the big companies such as Ripley or Saga Falabella won a lot of their money through interest. Guess what? Few people in Peru know that; so this big companies are making a tone of money out of interests!! I decided to go and explore this big companies with my buddy Domenico (IA student). We are planning on how to film; if you have any ideas please comment! |
Just so that you have an idea of what happens
$4,299 (Actual Cost)
Six quotas payment= $783.06
$783.06 * 6 = $4,698.36
$4,698.36 - $4,299 = $399.36

You are actually paying much more money than you are supposed to pay! As I said, few people know about this. But the IA students are ready to make a change! We have started to research about some things like:
Camouflage: To be able to enter and film professionally
Laws: So that we don`t violate any laws that could cause us trouble
Cameras: How to film correctly, to make the documentary look real and interesting
Premiere: To edit our Documentary
Interest rates: To see how they impact the client without him/her noticing it
Marketing: The types of marketing that these companies use to sell their products
and as always the innovative ideas that we get daily and motivate us minute by minute to create a great documentary that will be able to serve all of Peru`s community so that they get more knowledge about the topic! #WP11 and #DoM ready!
